Pippin, that statement isn't 100% accurate. Apple uses AirPlay as a way of redirecting audio and video to a TV or stereo. While it works best with Apple equipment, like Apple TV, it also works with Yamaha receivers and other devices that have licensed AirPlay. If you search for AirPlay devices on Amazon, you'll find quite a few. I suspect that Logitech won't go that route, but wouldn't it be nice if they did!
In the meantime, I use Nicecast to redirect my Mac's audio to my Squeeze radio. To me, however, this is like renting a truck to go grocery shopping.
