Hello,

As it's getting progressively harder to keep LMS installed on my main
(Gentoo) home server without keeping it in a timewarp, and a spare
Raspberry Pi became available, I decided to bite the bullet and set up a
future-proof LMS appliance (app-Pi-ance?) on the Pi. I didn't try
cloning any of the LMS settings as they're pretty basic (or so I
thought...), just set it all up from scratch. I used the AUR
logitechmediaserver-7.9.0 PKGBUILD (not -git) on Arch linux ARM on a Pi
B+.

My receiving setup is two Radios sync'd together playing a channel each.
I activated the sync initially through the UI on one of the Radios, then
volume sync and the other niceties through the LMS webUI. However I've
found that the behaviour is a bit different now in operation:

Previously, the UI on Radio B would follow along with my physical
interactions on Radio A: menu positions (I think) and, crucially,
volume. I'd turn the knob on Radio A and the OSD would show on both as
it changed.

Now, this doesn't happen (although volume adjustment does sync); and if
I then go to Radio B and adjust its volume, the starting-point is
whatever was last manually set on that Radio, irrespective of what the
sync'ed level may have been as set via Radio A. (Which can be a bit
jarring if the levels have diverged by a lot in-between.)

Now my Gentoo LMS install had evolved over a good decade, much of which
these Radios weren't even present for, so I may have been the
beneficiary of a quirk that's since evaporated as of more recent LMS
iterations; but I'm certainly missing the more complete sync experience.
Anyone know a magic trick to get it back?

TIA =)
