OK, I've found that my Transporters, Classic and Boom behave differently
when power is disturbed compared to my Touches and Radios. When power is
disturbed/missing on the Transporter, Classic and Boom once the power
returns they revert to their previous state (i.e. If they were 'On' when
power went missing they return to the 'On' state once power returns and
if they were in 'Standby' they revert to 'Standby' when power returns).
My Touches and Radio (no battery pack) always return to the 'On' state
when power returns whether they were in 'Standby' or 'On' before. My
Radio fitted with a battery pack was not affected (obviously!) but if I
set it to 'Standby' then removed power, after 15 minutes it turns itself
off (by design). When power was re-applied the Radio also went in to the
'On' state.

I think this is why my Touches and Radio turn themselves on. I live in a
small village which uses overhead lines for power. Whenever there is
adverse weather (strong winds, heavy rain, lightning etc) we often get
brown-outs or black-outs. I'm guessing that when I return home and find
the Touches and Radio turned on there's been a brown-out happen whilst
I've been out.

I'm not suggesting that this is what is happening to other users but I
thought this info might be useful?
