I been wanting to post here but time has not allow me too. Finally I got the time.
I had the same issue as allot of you here. After some hours of trouble shooting I found that my sudden turn on of "power" was actually the system catching up to a lost stream. I been having issues where pandora stops streaming and goes quiet... I forget about it and within hours or sometimes days it starts playing on its own... Scaring the hell out of me... I got around this issue by turning on LMS Proxie. So all of my streams now proxie through LMS before they get to my squeezebox.
