Rebooting router (simply unplug, wait 5 seconds, plug back in) should not cause any harm. In fact it is a good and recommended maintenance procedure everyone should be doing monthly.
Think about it.... what is the first thing all customer service reps tell you to do when you call about any electronic device? Reboot the device. They don't request this to waste your time. They do so because *many* issues are resolved by simply rebooting. Especially computer/software devices (such as a router). cable/sat box, DVR, cell phone, computer, tablet, TV, modem, router, stereo, fax, printer, SqueezeBox player, iPod/mp3 player, etc..... all need a reboot now & then. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107655 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
