Squeezebox firmware has remained unchanged for years and I suspect that it will not be changing for this. However, I suspect that you could change the timezone configuration file by making an SSH connection
The time on the devices is controlled by the server (lack of RTC chip on the hardware...). This must be fixed on the server side.
Brazilian TZ has been challenging for a while. The change date would change every year, not following any rules which can be covered by an algorithm.
