It should be reachable at [email protected] and is the official
maintainer for the upstream (but lacking AR6002 support) driver.
It had perhaps access to a more stable/fixed firmware and could
investigate for the public access to 062.
All of this could be discussed on linux-wireless mailling list too. You
could find some interest in the goal to reinstate AR6002 support to the
upstream driver which should be doable with a stabilized 062 driver.
Kalle will surely merge it if it work and clean, and you will find help
and code review on the list.
(yes I dream of an upstream kernel for the SB to become reality some
day...)

No one know on linux-wireless the community interest and work of some
groups on some old devices like SB. Joining linux-wireless could change
the game.
It is like the "waste" of good programmers time on very very old
androids kernel and images, waste because it is a dead end and would be
better spend up-streaming  the necessary support.
Yes upstream Linux still run on my old Atari :) as perseverance on his
90's PowerPC processor.
