Im frustrated as well, but at least I was able to solve the problem with a Wi-Fi->Ethernet dongle that I found out about here. (I used a Vonets). it needs to be powered, so I use this on 3 Radios that I never use as a portable. I have 1 other Radio that I use as a portable, and if playing, the connection lasts most of the day (may have to do 1 re-boot)
