The shown screenshot can be obtained both through zooming in or zooming out, it
is clearly an intended result, not a rare freak result after a specific
sequence of unusual operations. If that map was not meant to be zoomed then it
seems odd to me that it can be zoomed.
I don't really want to and neither am i qualified to participate in a
discussion on *how* to properly display OSM-Carto tiles on a website. I am
pretty confident that all decent quality frameworks for displaying tiled maps
are capable of interactively displaying OSM-Carto in a suitable way - there are
literally thousands of community websites in the OSM world that do so. But -
if that is somehow not deemed possible/desirable here, then it would likewise
be an option not to use OSM-Carto on the dashboard of course.
