Hi David,

I have MacPro as primary machine and Macbook Air as portable  
machine.....

I have used the MBA at worksites (connected to a 20+" monitors) and  
its fine....

Issues:
Memory..... 2gb get a bit limited, so be careful with what you open
Video..... Wont run a 30" monitor (new ones will)
Speed is OK.... But Macbooks etc are still faster (In comparisson MBA  
to MBP (old model)... MBA took double the time to run rails 1000 tests)

re: not having DVD drive... probably been an issue once in the last year
re: one USB, been an issue a couple of times...

Joy of carrying less weight around.... Priceless!
