Hi Stu I've used Radiant a few times - not for anything particular complex, but it's served the purpose well. Of course you'll need to spend a bit of time getting comfortable with it, and depending on which version you use, various extensions may not be compatible, but it's great having the core part of CMS's - page editing - taken care of. It's not too hard to write extensions to extend it either.
I've not looked into BrowserCMS at all, though, so not much help in comparing the two.
