Hi Mike, I have had no problem with fam operation, it works exacty like you would expect, most of th eitme it isn;t running, do something with lotsof procesing at it kicks in until the laptop cools.
They use the same SSD's as Apple, the samsungs. Definatley screw them down on list price, even if you have to go back a few times on the phone. I ordered a E6400 with 4GB ram, 128Gb SSD, upgraded intel wireless, backlit keyboard, T9550 (2.66Ghz), 14.1” Widescreen WXGA + (1440x900) LED Display, Webcam, full docking station, and a full HD 23" external monitor, 3yr next day onsite warranty, for $3000 ex gst. I also ordered without an operating system. I have the standard 6 dell battery, the larger battery does stick out I believe. I get over 3 hours from the battery, but never needed to use it until exhaustion.
