Hi, I've been doing a lot of work on BrowserCMS over the last 4 months or so. Happy to chat about it with you.
The caching is pretty straightforward actually, and is documented (kind of) - http://www.browsercms.org/doc/guides/html/deployment_guide.html . I have instances running on machines with large resources, and haven't had to notice whether it demands a lot of resources, but I wouldn't think that it does. There are some drawbacks to working with it - the programming team transitioned to Rails and many of the conventions you'd expect to see in a Rails open source project aren't there, but it all works. You might also check out adva-cms, which is something else I was looking at. Here's a classic blog about the sitation - http://aaronlongwell.com/2009/06/the-ruby-on-rails-cms-dilemma.html Cheers, Nicholas On Jan 20, 5:31 pm, kirillrdy <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > Just want to ask people what Rails based CMS they use, > > I've tried just about anything there is, and I dont feel very happy > with any of them. > > Out of all the ones I've tested top 2 are Radiant and BrowserCMS. > > Radiant is simple, but sometimes even simples things are so hard to do > in Radiant.
