The next Melbourne Ruby users group will be this Thursday evening. The format, for those who are unfamiliar is as follows: Meet at 6, talk about new things happening in the ruby (or development) world, announce jobs†, have a series of talks‡, drinks at a local bar.
The evening runs from 6pm until around 9pm. Of course, there will be certain people who will stay out all night. It'll be a fun night - please don't feel scared if you've not come along before, it would be great to have you along. Topics range from TDD/BDD, web frameworks, frontend—back end, nosql, scalability, toolsets and the like.
