The purpose behind Development Hub is for anyone at any skill level to come along to code on whatever project they are working on. Think of it as a group programming session where lots of people are in the same room coding on lots of different things. Lots of opportunity for pairing, lots of chances to chat to people who are expert developers. We (reinteractive) also bring several of our own developers and several community oriented Ruby devs also come along to help anyone that comes along and anyone from the community can come along to assist. It's a follow on event from the InstallFest and aimed to generate a lot more interest in Ruby on Rails.
