Thanks for bumping this Andrew :) Here's the deal with the hack night. We're doing open source hacking. That means we'll hit up code triage and whatever projects you suggest and start picking off some issues and resolving them.
This is a great chance to make your first open source commit, whether it's a documentation fix, a typo or a nasty little bug.
