One of the greatest accomplishments achieved by those who attacked our nation this week will ultimately be that of propelling our nation to become more like thier's.

Explanation: This attack was indeed one on our freedom; but our freedom's greatest undoing will be the very measures that our government will use to prevent such occurances from happening again. For instance:

Notice that in the wake of this week's recent events, we are hearing of hightened security measures which must be sanctioned. We are now hearing talk of the possibility of armed military personel at airports, on planes, etc. Today congress passed a measure providing for the activation of 35,000 troops for "home security"- in others words- martial law.  These 35,000 troops are not for overseas, they are for right here. Travelers in the middle east are used to such military presences in public life. "The loss of civil liberties is a small price to pay for safety." We are hearing talk of the coming necessity of i.d. cards with smart chips; face and hand scanning; we are already using the two phrases in the same sentence so let's go ahead and combine the two: scan right hands and foreheads with smart chips in them.
"America is changed forever." It took less than an hour after the initial incident for this one to be coined. Does it seem to anyone that all these phrases were spoken with such fluid motion that they were nothing new to the speakers? Almost as if they had been rehearsed? Just lying there all prepared and waiting for the opportunity to be said? And such opportunity arose this week.

Watch for a call for tolerance. Perhaps you have already heard it. Tolerance of other's religions. Listen for an outcry against bigotry. Then, wait for the move to eliminate differences in religion as an answer for global peace.

This week, we took one giant step and one small step. The giant one towards America becoming a total police and welfare state. The smaller one towards a one-world-religion.
