Mark and all. I hear you about the full mailbox and I know that part of
that of is my fault from junk mail but I delete it.
As far as the devotions and stories go- I love them. Theres nothing as good
for the soul as a good gospel story around the cyber campfire to pluck at my
soul.
I use these stories to minister to me and the boys. Please don't take them
away-please.
Anyone else been blessed by them?
I have a collection that has expanded into 2 notebooks with close to 500
devotions, skits and object lessons. I figure when I go to be with Jesus I will
leave them for someone else to get blessed with. I have made a 2nd copy of them
for my commanders to use and leave them in our RRHQ for access to anyone in
Rangers.
A lot of these stories/devotions are written by commanders from around the
world. They are treasure and a heritage for years to come.
Thanks for letting me put in 2 cents.
Oh BTW the Lord has really been moving in our Outpost with worship that has
touched these boys. A 5 year boy came up to me and told me that he had a vision
during the worship of God washing away all our sins!
I was stunned. 5 years old! The older Pioneers and Trailblazers had been so
filled with the Holy Spirit they can hardly stand. Tears streaming down-boys on
their face on the floor.
I have built a computer and hooked it to the sound system we have and play
worship songs through it. Powerful songs that I ripped from worship CDs I
have.
We haven't broken into patrols meetings for the last couple of weeks
because the Holy Spirit has been working in the whole group. Heavy prayer time,
too.
Apparently one of our worship leaders popped their head in because of the
music and worship. Wonder what they thought?!?! Yea-Rangers ain't playing
around!! We've been getting down!!
Oh yeah several moms have been staying and helping and that has been a
great asset to the worship. When I ask who wants to pray the boys shoot up so
many hands its hard to pick just one.
I like it.
