*First of all..

There's a sickness that clouds the eye's of many Ranger leaders
with reguard to advancement in the organization. This "sickness"
is curiously simular to "Buck Fever" that drives a deer hunter to
press past reason in the pursuit of wild game..<G>

There's a small warning about this 'fever at NTC.. while you
are encouraged to light the passion in your heart "for the boys"..

It's warns those prone to such passion to watch out for the
family first.. *Not everyone can serve un-hindered from obligations
and many should not.. Not everyone can afford the travel and
time from the job needed to be there... your wife, kids and
home come number one!

I suspect such a rumor about Traning is bogus and a dry hole<G>

The better attitude is to focus on your local Rangers as the future.

You want something good to be preserved, and if anything is hollow,
a sham or corrupt you want that to be purged.. and the best way to
do that is with success. Success comes from effort, courage and
forsight into haveing the "Boys" buy intothe *program..

Success never comes from a Top-down lecture of why we do things
this way.. Success never comes from walls and limits to fellowship
and will never happen untill something "natural" and in line with
greater good is touched. We are proud of all the trappings we hang
on uniforms that symbolize Honor... *But where the "rubber meet's
the road" is when we let go and grant freedom to our charges.. and
they in this mortal life carry out the spiritual, moral, and cultureal
good that fires their "success".

National Training is a good thing, but it needs to pass down the line
to build our investment in the future, and should never be about an
"elete membership" or exclusive adult club.

How that is delevered is called "Leadership" and like I've shared
before.. the greatest act of Leadership is found in building MORALE.
Attending a national camp is a MORALE booster.. *But your job is to
pass that on to the boys..

*High MORALE is the Index of effective Leadership.

Morale raises belief of the Leader in the follower,
of the follower in the Leader, of each in themself,
and both in the .....cause!
