Speakin' of courtin', the NCal/Nev RR store has "courting" candles for those with Daddy's little girl. It is a spiral candle holder with a little lever to raise and lower the candle. When the candle burnt down to the holder, courtin was over. If you liked the boy, you could raise the candle higher with the lever. If you didn't, well you get the picture.
