*I can talk about that if you want.. I'd tell you about going to NTC and comming back to my OP and looking at my "Sr.Guide" in a different light. So I began to head for a boy-led Patrol system. I ran OP207 in this mannor and it generated a run-in with the 3rd Childrens Pastor during my 3 year's a Sr.Commander, that I did not survive. I'd rather just tell you how it is in T328... As "Un-real" as it may sound, Josh is not the only 17 year old who has stayed with the troop<G> He has about 8 other Scout friends 16 to 18yr's old.. Sometimes they need to shave<G> and it's a little strange to see them in knee socks and shorts.. In a "Board of Review" we asked one of these older scouts why it took him 4 years to achive the "golf" merit.. "well, my dad and I used it as an excuse to play togather.. We began to enjoy ourselves and I didn't want that to end.. so I just wanted to make it last as long as possible<G>" Q? *What if the "Boys" of Royal Ranger were haveing so much fun, that they decided to just enjoy this time togather? I'm saying that mayby the invisible game is not "arriveing" at the end goal, but found in the pleasure of the time spent, in the journey<G> If this was real in your Outpost, would you step to the side, as a Coach does, or would you attemp to "Manage the group" as Leader? -=A=- ===== *High MORALE is the Index of effective Leadership. --------------********+********-------------------- Morale raises belief of the Leader in the follower, of the follower in the Leader, of each in themself, and both in the .....cause! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
