Easy, hunh? I am glad for what we are have and are accomplishing in our outpost. We may not be making all the acheivements (although we are gaining on that) but we have elected to have an opening ceremony including prayer-then 40 minutes of patrol time and then we get back together for worship. I work with the Trailblazers and tonight we made firestarter by dipping dry lint into some wax. When cooled it is great for atarting fires. We practised striking a flint sparker on it and got it to light fairly easily. I also used sawdust & wax but it wasn't as combustible as the lint but it probably burn longer for hard to start fires. The prayer and worship are the most important and fulfilling, I believe. But we try to maintain a balance. I have challenged the boys with a program that the Lord gave me-its called Special Forces. I read the story of a Special forces team sent in behind enemy lines to liberate some POWs (true story) near Hanoi. Then I related it to how it is like our job as Christians to go in and liberate others who are held captive by the enemy. They are fired up-we anointed them with oil and the Holy Spirit and sent them to prayer for one another. Young warriors. Yes, even the Straight arrows are on their face before God getting visions. Some have seen Jesus right in the room. Tonight a commander felt Jesus walk behind her-she was excited! 2 Pioneers could hardly stand up and reported that it felt like someone was pushing them backward.
