Yup.. Being an effective Leader is as easy as falling off the LOG!
==================================================================

*I'll go s-l-o-w, so you know what I'm talking about.

Truely GREAT "leaders" are allmost overlooked.

They are at their best when people barely know they exist.

(This is because *they-> the boys come to ->*become Royal
Rangers, and join in the secret gameplay called "My special
Outpost that I love and treasure, because that's where my friends
are, and where I am respected")

If you are haveing trouble getting that to happen<G> *Start
Honoring people for what they do or even what you wish they did<G>
*Go all out like an IDIOT handing out praise and "thank you's"

"Fail to Honor people and they will fail to HONOR you"

When the "Honor" bubble get's going, turn it to the work at hand,
to Reach-Teach-*Train and equip the boys for a *LIFE IN CHRIST.
You as a GREAT LEADER ...stand around and sweep up the details
at your leasure, and remain calm and cool.

I'd suggest that- "Nothing worth saying requires more that 60
seconds before the boys"

*When the boys need an "adjustment" use your tools- the Sr. Guide
to do the hands on work needed in his own unique style.. YOU JUST
BACK HIM. (Explaining what you "mean" clearly and in a brief 60
sec's)

There's only one purpose to all this effort, and that is to RAISE
the Morale of your boy's. When they catch the *vision of the "Game"
in a flash we become sideline coach<G> The Boys can do it!..

(Word picture)

If you sent them out to play in the snow.. in Patrols, you'd be
garenteed that the snowballs would fly back and forth to build
Patrol spirit.<G> Next you'd find that your RR Commander 'voice
has become useless to their Joy at just sheer playing the "Game".

*There's a special blessing to all Adults who can "see" the secret
game and play it.. with stratagy<G> I beleve that *Ideas are more
powerfull than personalities, and those ideas can be transfered easily
to power up a young Leader..

*Am I communicating?

Can I get a whitness?

BTW- Good Job Cdr.Bob<G>
