*I'll be honest... I was there- *alseep or dozeing off.

The camps are walk-in primitive, so there is brush between
each camp. The rest of the USA may not have camped in the
Pacific Northwest, but you can stand off the trail in brush
so thick that light will not pass through.. It sometimes
is a hedge of thick brambles-fern and vine maple..

I had my tent in one of the first sights up the trail from
Josh's Eagle project #37 and the Cobras were in #42.. SPL
staff was in #46 with the camps a small 20' clearing with
picnic table/fire pit.

 Maybe I'm wrong

You are not wrong to ask, *I'm feeling guilty that I
so trust these boys that I can rest without worry..

*Often, they will play a game in the dark.. and I find
it very hard to keep track of who is who<G>

In past camps, the troop camped within sight of each other
in a large group camp.. and it was suggested that we try
to promote individual patrol's camping off to them selves.

*This is a agenda point to consider at our next Leader meeting.

When I camped with Rangers.. I didn't have the support we have
in Troop 328 and would never have trusted the boys as i have
come to with these boys. That said, I am responsible.

*I went to Scoutmaster to tell him this myself.

Remember, "We" met to talk this over *before talking
to the boys, and He treated this entire incident as a
lerning exercise for everyone.. The troops policy of
boy leadership remains... firm.

SPL is my son Josh GMA#3911 and you should know he blew his
top at them with both lungs.. *later he talked to me about how
mad he got at the Cobras, and he regreted that.

He got "wind" that they were going to bring "charges" against
SPL for being so.. guff- bullish- *Honest.. That's the nature
of the Cobra patrol, however.. *duck-dodge and blame others..

It's a big mess<G>
*I love it!
