*I'll be honest... I was there- *alseep or dozeing off. The camps are walk-in primitive, so there is brush between each camp. The rest of the USA may not have camped in the Pacific Northwest, but you can stand off the trail in brush so thick that light will not pass through.. It sometimes is a hedge of thick brambles-fern and vine maple.. I had my tent in one of the first sights up the trail from Josh's Eagle project #37 and the Cobras were in #42.. SPL staff was in #46 with the camps a small 20' clearing with picnic table/fire pit. Maybe I'm wrong > to ask not knowing the full situation.
