Why do we meet in the community?

We want attending Royal Rangers to be
the best experiance possible, and to
make everyone feel at "home".. So we
have a "come as you are" and "rise to
be who you are" attitude of low stress,
high MORALE
What Churches are "Involved"
----------------------------
We don't pay all that much attention.
We do promote involvement in each Rangers youth group.
Who holds the Charter?
----------------------
Glad Tidings AOG
*It's in a frame in the
Sr. Pastors study.
Pastor also get's a transcript
of our leader minutes, when we meet,
and a copy of the background check's we
require.
They do not provide any $$$ support.
Who's the real power in the Outpost?
---------------------------------
The "Friends of Rangers" parent committe
They plan fund-raisers and train intrested
Merit councilors and run the reviews-boards
we give the boys, at each advancement rank.
*Lately this is looking like MOM power<G>
and that's OK!
Who's Who in the Outpost?

*Check the Phone list
It has everyone and it's format is by Patrol.
Phone-address-e-mail and parents name.
*Who runs the RR meetings?
-----------------------
Sr.Guide and his staff who plan
60 days in advance at a Gold Bar staff meeting.
*Who signs off on advancements?
------------------------------
Adult Leaders when the :council with
the ranger, and hold to a guideline of
No-more no-less than what is required.
*Who's Important in the Outpost?
-------------------------------
The boys..
New boys first..
then old timers<G>
The Patrols..
*then- The "Dad club"
We like to "shoot the breeze"<G>
*Everyone else is fringe element<G>
*When do we meet?-
------------------
Weekly- 7pm 8:30 monday night..
and at One outdoor overnight event a month.
We have some great camps through our Scouting connection.
Camp Merriwether- THE BEACH
Camp Baldwin- Mt Hood
Butte Creek Ranch- Western Horse camp
Camp Pioneer- High cascades, w/waterfall!
*Where do we meet-
We 'generaly meet at the local NRA shooting range clubhouse
(It's heated) Bring yur .22's!
*But in the spirng we'll meet at BattleGround
State Park in the main covered area with the big fireplace!
(Bring yur fish'n rod!)
*Uniforms?

Yup.. GPH standard issue with starch<G>
*Summer.. Ranger T-shirt Beret and BDU pants.
*Who may join?
--------------
Boys- All, in any condition who want too..
by saying the Ranger pledge.
Adult Leaders- *Only those that agree to a background check
and are agreeable to the intent of the Outpost
to be "Christian" group of fellow belevers.
We trust each other to not go off on tangents
but keep makeing Jesus and the Gospel the main thing.
*Everyone admires and agrees that Billy Grahm is cool<G>
Parents- *Any are welcome at any camp event or meeting
with the understanding that if you are drunk or
stoned, stay away till sober, and smell clean.
*However, zero tolerence of any Sex criminals- youth or adult.

*High MORALE is the Index of effective Leadership.

and both in the .....cause!
