Ha, ha-everyone has had to handle that one. I usually give my condolences
and say that I'm sorry.
Remind them that winning is not always the best ways to learn some of lifes
lessons. Jesus won the war by dying. Its hard to beat that one. Things are
not always as they seem.
Spiritual Laws
Most spiritual laws seem to be direct opposite to our natural thoughts. Here
a few of them I have written down:
? The way up is down: As we allow ourselves to be humbled and take a lower
position then the Lord will exalt us. If we try to exalt ourselves we will
fall. Matt. 23:12, Lk. 14:41, Lk. 18:14, I Peter 5:6
? We find ourself only when we lose or shed our self: As we turn our own
self or will over to the Lord then He can make us complete. Galatians 2:20
? We only receive that which we give away: What we sow is what we will
reap-If we give it will be given back to us in larger measure. Galatians
6:7, Luke 6:38
? When we are weak then we are strong: It is not our strength that will
really matter or accomplish anything. His strength is made perfect in our
weakness. Only what is done for Christ will prevail. II Cor. 12:9-10
? We must die in order to live: A seed must die before it can bring forth
fruit. John 12:24, Romans 6:11, I Cor. 15:31-36
? In order to be first we will have to be last: The first shall be last and
the last shall be first. Matt. 19:30, Mark 9:35
? If you want to be great you must become as a servant: If you want to be
great in Gods Kingdom you must learn to be the servant of all. Mark 9:35,
Matt. 20:26

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give
you hope and a future. Jer. 29:11
