As I understand it, leaders certified to teach Leadership Training Courses, including Instructor Trainers, need to take and pass any course before they teach it. This includes Ranger Basics.
I believe it also includes the red courses. For example, I cannot teach the Coordinator or Camping red courses, even thou I'm an Instructor Trainer, if I never took and passed them. (I just earned the blue pins.) Since the Organization and Counselor courses are the same for both blue and red, at least in the Nor Cal/Nev. District, I didn't include them in the example. The week after Easter, we're having a day of taking the new course and recertifying as Instructors. I look forward to the new training. How about you?
