While I still think you are being facetious, I somewhat agree in that most of us are basically running a cub scout pack (I came to that realization while perusing a boy scout catalog and seeing the age groups). In our outpost, we have never had much of a trailblazer let alone a trailranger group. Until this year, about 60% of our boys came from outside the church (non-church families). When they turn 13, those boys who are from church families go to youth, if they feel they "fit in." The other boys just fade away. I thought one of the primary purposes of creating Rangers was to "keep our boys from falling out the back door of the church?"
