Pen-Del has East and West division, due to geography. As far as I know, the
divisions are used primarily for the Fall Camporee.

You fellas still use Divisions? Our District dispensed with those in 1997 We
just have it as Outpost, Area, Section & then District in Potomac. We don't
have a lot of emphasis on area but we do have area Commanders.

  D.J.

Sections divide a Division and Areas divide a Section. Area Commanders are
a part of the Sectional Staff with the Sectional Commander as the head. He
is under the Divisional Commander who is under the District Commander.

  Hope this helps ---- blessings,

Just curious. I've seen references to Area and to Section. Is there a
difference? Or is the Area the same in one place as a section is in
another? I've seen some Area commanders and some Section commanders and
wondered what the difference is.
