Must be nice,  I forgot how to count that high. Our division used to be Eastern Shore, Eastern and Capital MD & VA sections made up one of the divisions in our District. The division met for the last Pow-wow in 1997. I believe that for one reason or another there may not have been enough support for us to maintain the Division. Cmdr Harlan seemed to have felt that we could dispense with it and just run it at sectional and District levels. Area levels would be coordinated by the Sectional Cmdr. No, Potomac is no where near as big as SoCal and there just doesn't seem to be a need to support divisions at this time.  That is how I see it from here and that may or may not reflect the official District position on it. We would have had other Divisions too in our District, but I don't know what their demographics would have been.

Divisions??  Of course!!! So Cal District is so big that we have to break it up into 3 Divisions.  Imagine 2500 men and boys at one Pow Wow???   It is becoming more and more impossible to find a campground to hold that many at a reasonable cost.  Our Northern Division Pow Wows run 6 - 700 easily, and we are a smaller division ( Head count that is, not land area).
