My suggestion would be to get a message to the
National Office and ask them there opinion on this matter. Randy did not say
what age his son is. If he is close to 18 they may make an
exception.

I am still looking for more information about the NCE and
I don't know
what to do.
My son and I travel from Alaska to Oregon where
he is in his last year of
JLTC.
I see that this year the NCE is just a
few hundred miles from the camp in
Oregon and just 2 days after he
graduates from JLTC.
I have been canoeing in Alaska for a long time but
since I became a
Ranger Commander a few years ago I could never find the
training to get
to take Rangers on canoe trips. Alaska has great
rivers for trips like
this.
So do you think that my son's JLTC would
meet the requirement of the NTC
for the NCE?
