I'm suffer'n a brainerisum over picking sides in this scrap.

I hear that Arafat is a terrorist, under the GW Bush 9-11 doctrine
it seems there is a GREEN light to "take him out".. Yet I have
to remember that many Isreal founding "fathers" were just like
the PLO in founding Isreal and running the British out. Some of
my "thinking" is corrupted by a liberal arts education<G>

They bombed Hotels and used force for political objectives, they
did this to successfuly bring about *change.. They got what they
took.

Our own country came to be in a "Revolutionary War" and I'm sure
later it was difficult to choose sides in when the "Civil War" came
to your town. Godly people assumed position on both sides!

That said.. Just why is the USA thinking about jumping in the middle
of this firefight? Our Vietnam involvement came out of supporting
the FRENCH and their claim to SE asia over the right of the Vietnamese
people to self-govern. *I beleve.. in "reading" the news that a
"siege mentality" has come to Isreali leadership, that they beleve it's
NOW or never, to crush resistance and secure their occupation of
the land of Palestine.

Haveing grown up under the influence of AG teaching on the "end times"
It's easy to sumerize the conflict and predict the winner. History
seemes to fill in the missing pieces to the jig-saw puzzle so that
we now have network TV shows reading the current news from a Biblical
based view of current events and end time theology.

(*I'll cut to the wild stuff)

1. Someone needs to clear out the "Mosque of Omar" off the temple
   mount

2. Someone needs to find the missing Ark of the Covenent.

3. In our rush to assign this scrap "Biblical Overtones" I
hope my Grandchildren will inherit a beautiful life and western
sunset by a clear clean river full of Steelhead trout.

*I'm thinking this ISN'T WW3.. but just two OLD MEN with grudges
squareing off with the world watching.. Send the IDF back to the
barracks, wash down the APC's and field strip the M16's.
