First let me add that we already have a part of our uniform dedicated to the same values that the Christian Flag stands for. The Royal Ranger Emblem. Do we need to duplicate this? Our country was founded on Christian beliefs, and if not for our country Royal Rangers might not exist as it is today. We pay tribute to our country. This idea was presented at National Council in March 2001 well before the 9-11 events.

Subject: [RR] God first?

Please read completely and carefully before you reply!    I dislike the usage of a national flag on the Royal Rangers uniform. The option of wearing a Christian flag in its place or with should be added. We should focus on what unites us and that would be Christ.  A case was made about our flag saying that we should have it on our uniforms to show that we are members of the United States Royal Rangers.  This reasoning isn't valid because other countries already have their own national office, uniforms, policies, language, etc.  There is no reason to further the obvious differences between our Royal Ranger programs. When I put on my uniform I think of myself as a "soldier of God" which is why I again feel that we should wear the Christian flag, my loyalties are first to Christ. There will be a time when the nations will come agaisnt the people of God, so we first serve Christ not nations. What about the nations that are worldly and clearly against christians, should a christian place its flag on his uniform. Remember I am not asking for the removal of the wearing of a national flag, but the option to wear a Christian flag. Let me put it this way, Where is the Christian flag on our uniform and why did a national flag come first? We are a christian ministry and the first thing that should appear on our uniform is something that lets the world clearly see this. God bless!
