I invested a LOT of time and effort in the old Outpost,
and it's taken me 5 years to return to where I *Thought I
had left..
This time I'm bringing 35 boys.. that will not fail.
.. so I THINK I have some say in the way things ought to be.
My Boys need to advance, and the Older boys don't seem interested in
motivateing these younger boys to get that camp squared away..We
make excellent suggestion to them.. and it goes in one ear and out the
other, like they do not listen..
*So yes.. I'll admit I contrived that showdown.. and Yes, I
knew those words were manipulative. *That's the way it is..
and it worked well. *Did you see how they turned too?
I'm here and the boys will get used to me. I'm loud and in their
faces. They don't have to like me, and i expect if they want to
leave the Outpost they will before me. So I have a investment in
the future beyond these older "GMA" boys.
Thanks for talking with me Mr.Wheeler- I appreciate your stand up
style of defence.. If my son was Sr.Guide I'd play your role the
same way-
