I'd like to get general consensus on how other Outposts run their
uniform programs. Do you buy uniforms with Ranger Funds, or have the
parents supply them? As we begin resuming our weekly meetings this coming
week, I will be implementing a mandatory uniform within 3 months policy.
I suppose we will be playing middle man between parents and uniform
suppliers to equip the boys with class C uniforms. Cammies w/ "Ready"
t-shirt sounds good Sammy, although a little hot. Need to make it to Army
Navy surpluses around here. Any other suppliers who have been sufficient
BDU's connections?
I do like the idea someone (I forget who) had on an exchange
program as boys move on to different uniforms, outgrow the Outpost, etc.,
and have uniforms they can pass down to other boys. Whether the Outpost
actually bought them might not be an issue with most parents who's boys
no longer need the ones they have been wearing. Hate to imagine the cost
of dozens of uniforms. We might make it optional as to whether parents
have to buy them or not. Dunno
