I have never had any real problem with the Khaki
uniforms - that is if the LEADERS support them. Leaders, we need to set
the example, WEAR yours to EVERY Ranger function and do so properly - the
boys will catch on. Summer uniform for me at the outpost level
has always been Ranger t-shirt & Khaki slacks - that is especially true here
in the Central Valley of Ca. where you can almost fry a egg on the sidewalk
during the day.
By the way, the used uniform idea works well.
Give the boys 1/2 off on a new uniform as an incentive to keep on wearing
them.
