Yes it is in the leaders that sets the example. I'm sure you all have heard the words "LEAD BY EXAMPLE" To tell you the truth everyone leads by example and it may be negitive otr positive. I say lets "LEAD BY THE RIGHT EXAMPLE" Men set the example towards uniforms and reward them for wearing them. We try to have a uniform inspection at every meeting and those that wear uniforms get a prize or Ranger bucks. Our summer wear is Ranger t-shirts and khaki hiking pants. or Khaki BDU's. this makes us not look so para-military looking. and the ranger baseball cap, but we are considering wearing the US Army Ranger hat flat tops in either a Navy or Khaki color with the Ranger Patch emblem on them.
