First of all, if "Patch Attach" comes off in the first wash, don't wash the
uniform! I haven't washed my uniform shirt for months and it doesn't smell,
hardly at all, maybe.

Seriously, the best way to put patches on uniforms is to have the owner of
the uniform had-sew it, as best they can. It gives them pride in their
achievement, and keeps them complaining that someone didn't sew it on right.

You also said you didn't want to bother your wife about this problem. Take
it from me. That's a big mistake, buddy. Wives often know these things,
and sometimes know about thinks you never guessed they would. Keeping
problems from them denies them the opportunity to make a great suggestion.
When it works, you have opportunity to tell everyone what a great wife you
have and how luck you are she hasn't kicked you out of the house yet.

My dad saw red in his stool (feces). Instead of mentioning it to his wife,
he went to the doctor. After a barium enema, and a medical bill, he told my
mom he was okay, but they couldn't figure out the cause. She said he ate
beets!
