Ever wonder why the make trucks so big?

Trucks just seem overbuilt for the job of driveing down the hyway.

If you look close.. the tires are huge and the springs so heavy
that they look absurd! I've rode in them and when empty.. they
are rough! They shake and bounce and take a long time to make
speed. The engines roar and the gears howal!!

To use for commuter transportation they leave a lot to desire<G>

That's why Cars make so much sence-

They are easy to drive, quiet and powerfull. The seats often are plush
and ride is built to be smooth and easy to take. You may even have
a music system built in! In every case cars make much more sence
than trucks... *unless you need to haul something that won't fit
or is too heavy for your car<G>

Then, Trucks start to make sence!

Trucks have more cargo room, or can be specialy built to carry
machinery or gear needed for work. The fire department knows this..
so they use Big Trucks special made for firefighting. Because they
fight fires and we don't.. we don't allways need large trucks for
our use and get by much better with cars to drive. *Unless we have
the need to haul something, and then mayby a small truck
with the features of a Car seem the best compromise<G>

All this was un-important when wayyy back we didn't have the
Automobile and had the Horse! Life was so much simple-er<G>

*Of course.. that's right-
There were Big Horses and small ones!
