A pure Democracy is one of the worst forms of government because of man's
sinful nature. A quote about democracy from Neil Boortz:
"Democracy is three wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner."

In a pure democracy, if your neighbors do not like you or how much
wealth/items/etc. you have accrued, they can vote and have you stripped of
those things and you cast out on your behind.

In this country, we have either a constitutional republic or democratic
republic, depending on who you ask.

Republican and Democrat are simply political labels- the political
parties used to be called Whigs and Tories.

A republic and a democracy are an idea or concept.

A democracy is where the people vote and decide on every issue-one man,
one vote.

A republic is where the people vote for other people to represent them
when the votes are taken on issues-like our Congress.

Consider how unwieldy our government would be if every decision had to
await the vote of every eligible voter...
