So, I put all that time and effert into this job - how do I know when to toss in the towel?  Or do I keep going at it full steam ahead even though I am not making enough sales.  Who knows?  The next sale my be the big break I have been looking for or it may break me.

How do I decide when enough is enough?
When does the lose out weigh the gain?

As with anything we do in this life, when do we say 'I have given it my all.  I have done all I can do.  I have given it my best.  It is just not working.  Time to move on.'?

Follow the leading of the spirit.  Bathe your decisions in prayer.  Get some advice from your elders and then make the very best decision you can.  Stick with your decision.  Later down the road of life you will most likely know if you made the right decision or not.  Then learn from that.

You walk tonight down the gym and graduate High School...
while it's the end of school and there much talk of starting life
and that sounds scary..

Today in the mail came a letter, inviteing you to apply
in person for a job in sales...

*you are feeling good

You have a plan, and your working that plan..

Three days of Training and you are ready to sell!

"Cutco knives" have the double "D" edge that can cut meat
so thin your in-laws will never come back for dinner!

Your selling a QUALITY LIFETIME Cutlery..
You've followed all the rules, learned the pitch
Your calm, cool, and ready..

*But it's 2003 and everywhere you go money is tight..
You plan to sell and make money, but so far that hasn't happened.

*While it is true that your product is quality... Not everyone
is willing to pay full price. Presentation follows planning, but
cracks in the basic program begin to be seen..

Cutco knives can be found on E-bay
Sales samples are there by the dozen..

"List price" is undercut by marketers and your faith in the company
may be quickly eroded *True you sold your folks, and Grandparents
sets... *Others can't be any tougher than that

*Who knows.. it just may work out!

If we spend more time building boys we will spend less time mending men. If we spend more time growing girls we will have a lot less weeping women.
