First... *I survived a week of boys cooking the food in camp and the stress of being sociable with a variety of extream personalities<G>
Parts of the experiance was straight out of: "Lord of the Flies" and others were like an episode of "Spin and Marty" and the Double "R" Ranch.. The Lake was nice, the Horseback trip was fine, and I shot the .22's real well... *But the fun ran right out of my Scout Socks when the "One" Royal Ranger surviver to cross over to troop 328 hit the wall. Josia 13 is home schooled and a decent Christian kid.. By the end of camp he was in big trouble. BIG Trouble! *Alleged and unexplained charges... 1.Physical violence (Injury to younger scout) 2.Verbal abuse and insults/curses 3. Disrespect for authority 4. disruption of merit badge classes 5. excessive horseplay 6. Lieing about it. 7. distruction of property *Tonight a discipline board will be held ----------------------------------------- He'll get a chance to be advised,counciled and tell his side. My guts are in a knot.
