Ok here how it's shakeing out.. Josia and his family are of the "Old School" where you don't complain or run to others with your problems, you stand your ground... and after turning the cheek twice, you *deck the infidel!
The Troop wants zero violence, zero hazeing... They offer a secular humanist form of counciling and oversight with no yelling or overt control by Adults- Josia reports that he didn't get much rest with a patrol of wacked out Scouts... When they began to taunt him or hassle him he gave them a fist in the face. I guess the boys didn't like him to wear his cowboy boots... It's all good with Josia, because "after a while" he shook hands.
