I learned that as well. It saddens me when I think of what was and what could have been. Its still God's Ministry and he can do with it as he chooses. My job is to find God's Will for my life and the right pastor that God leads me to so my RR ministry will again be a blessing.
Shucks Gus it just got worse..... Right now being forced to work 7am to 7pm 6 to 7 days a week is not a good time for anything. It leaves one tired, mad and angry. I long for those 45 hour work weeks where I did have time to do full time ministry. Last November 9 months ago... I put in for a day off for the Ranger Card Board Boat Regatta I ran last week. In good faith I made 4 attempts in the 3 days preceding this day I requested off requesting if I could take the day off.... they would never answer yes or no if I could have the day off. It didn't seem to be important to them but it was important to me. At 7pm when I got off work I entered the time codes and took the next day off... "my tentative scheduled vacation day" and made a boat with my son and some of his friends. Loaded up the thing and then went to the Ranger Campout. A week later... I sit in a meeting with 3 Union Reps and 3 Management Reps in a Union meeting as too why I took Friday off.... HELLO! The supervisor I contacted 4 times lied and changed his side of what took place. Just to show how good our systems work at SBC...some of my co workers got a $0.00 check for 2 weeks of 80 regular and another 60 plus hours of overtime today. It's a great system we have at SBC. My check was right on the money. O well.. if I hold my peace and let God fight my battles. Victory, Victory, Victory will be mine. Been there done that... know it works. (I still can't stand liars.... so pray for me that I will just let it go and forgive and forget.....grrrrr!!)
