*Today... I watched Pastor John Hagee of San Antonio,Texas on TBN as I got my shoes on for work.. I also watched the NBC news Today show and began a conversation with GMA#3911...
(*excuse me as i *try, to be as honest as i can about what i said) I said outloud- "Boy Josh.. If I get fired and find I have no prospects... I should take my retirement saveings and tour Isreal and Iraq with a big cross like Arthur Blessit and finish up as a street preacher in the suni tri-angle of Baghdad! *I wonder how long it would take me to win a martyrs crown?" Here's the "jest of it"... Pastor Hagee preaches that we are the "terminal generation" and will live to see Rapture. (He is preaching a 4 part sermon series on the Rapture ect) He also indicated that in Heaven.. *Those that do God's work on earth will be seen to be wearing crowns of jewells.. *among those crowns is the Martyrs crown... Pastor Hagee aluded that there will be a "pecking order" in heaven and those that have worked for Jesus will be seated ahead of pesky skin'o the teeth Christians with rusty halo's and second hand wings full of patches!<G> Josh replied: "Bogus logic man.. No one who contrives to win a crown in glory.. will be rewarded the crown. Don't do it.. It would be suicide." *I pressed---- "*So.. Iraqi's are so lost that a man of God must *Fear proclaiming the gospel of Christ?" Josh replied: "Those people have made up their minds and will kill you...it's stupid. Don't do it dad..
