Ok for the superficial drama.. The ICE built and weighed down the cheery trees at Rancho deluxe till it draped over the power lines and somewhere.. blew a transformer.
No power? -=A=- flew into action looking for the cainsaw and 2 cycle oil only to find the starter rope fouled.. I then grabed a handsaw and ladder and went at it in the trees to get the weight off the line.. All around the trees were explodeing in the cold weather with ice loads. We chopped.. we cut.. we huffed and puffed bound up the saw and then reefed it loose.. then. a huge load of ice and snow fell and the tree was free.. Time to evac to a warm chinese buffet<G> Next day it was back up the truck and cut tree limbs with the 10" chop saw and recriprical saw. Slog'n around in the Ice.... Made me desire frim ground and flowers.
