I like those ICE Storms. 16 hours a day. Trees falling all around you. SBC say's DONT GET HURT But get out there and fix those lines! NO Wrecks but get out there and get to those customers. So they invest in some rubberband crampons and tire chains. As we slip our way to the customers house... were all thinking..when I get done in 16 hours I can go home to my cold dark no heat house as my electricity went out too.
I get a real kick out of people. You tell them. Their power mast is torn off their house. The power company will come out and cut their power drop off and tell them to get their power mast fixed and that they had better call an electrician to come out and fix it before the Power Company comes out or it could be weeks before they get the juice back on. Most look at you like a cow looking at a new fence post. You go back a week later putting up some other lines and they say... I should have listened to you. I won't get my power back on till.....
