RangerNet is primarily for the discussion of Royal Rangers and
ministry to boys and girls in the context of Royal Rangers. (Some
countries have girls in Royal Rangers as a matter of national policy.
Some don't. We welcome Royal Rangers of any nation, here.)

RangerNet is like a campfire where children are watching and
listening-- and where they occasionally chime in.

All RangerNet conversations are publicly archived, as mentioned in the
FAQ. I am not able to erase any messages in the archives. This isn't a
private discussion. It is more like "reality TV." Your faith walk is
on trial.

Royal Ranger mailing list management is mostly automatic. You control
it yourself from http://eBible.org/subscribe.htm.

RangerNet has members who are Christians in many countries, many
races, and holding to many political persuasions.

When you discuss politics, something that matters much more than the
opinions you express is the way you express them and the Christian
love you show (or don't show) in that expression.

You might find that some Christians will surprise you with differing
viewpoints. Look to see if maybe there is something you can learn from
them. Don't assume everything is true that is written, but don't call
people liars, either.

Discussion of politics is not necessarily off topic, because we as
Christians need to be salt and light in the political arena, and many
"political" topics are really moral issues. Political activity among
Christians is necessary, but far from sufficient. If you don't pray
for our leaders and future leaders, and if you don't seek God's
guidance in voting, then you waste both your breath and your vote.

By the way, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an American Baptist
Minister (not Southern Baptist). The primary difference between those
two denominations at that time was that Southern Baptists had more of
a problem with God's choice of skin colors for people. The Southern
Baptists have since repented publicly and apologized for that.

I find that a candidate's position on the abortion issue to be a good
indicator of their morality in general, personally.

I pray that I will actually get an absentee ballot in time to vote in
the next election. I also pray that you who are able to vote in
whatever country you are citizens of will allow yourselves to be led
by the Holy Spirit in your voting.

Your brother in Christ,
Kahunapule
