Those chicken feet look finger licking good!  How do you eat them with catsup?
Those remind me of one of my first attempts at a Survival Campout.  On the way home from that campout one of the boys was playing with the tendons on one of chicken feet he thought it was cool when he pulled on it the toes would curl up... someone had left it on the bus dash and I told him he ought to put a string on it and give it to his mom for a necklace he did... and his mom thanked me so kindly the next day in church!

I still have video of 15 boys chasing a chicken ...the one who caught it got to use the ax and do the cut and chop certification on it.  This city slicker learned his lesson that weekend...tough roosters are only good for boiling... we cooked them over a fire and it was like biting into a chunk of bicycle tire.

Thanks for the picture!  Enjoyed it!

I suppose that if rain cancelled an outing in this rain forest, we would never camp. I wasn't camping, though. I was teaching and shopping. Here is a photo from the market. Note the boiled chicken feet and chicken heads-- your choice, only 20 toia (about 6 cents US). I prefer the home-grown peanuts, myself-- only 10 toia per little packet. :-)
