I strongly believe that Rangers and Youth should work together,
Missionettes and Youth should do the same. Why?
We are working for the same goals. The kids that are in
youth should stay there, until they are lead to go into the
Ranger or Missionette ministry, which i feel is a step up
towards living a life in Christ, but no way is it the only
means of maturing in the walk toward Jesus.
I have sent kids to youth who needed that ministry,
they were like fish out of water in the Rangers. I have
also been sent kids who the youth Pastor felt needed
to mature in the direction of Rangers. God will lead
them, and through God we will guide them. Rangers
doesnt play second fiddle to youth, because Rangers
is in the Brass section of the band so to speak. We
are hard core, serious about Jesus and the direction
Rangers is going. Rangers isnt a hang out ministry,
its hands on 100%. We dont get the play Youth gets
cause they are usually a bigger group. We are the
elite, the ones that get involved in the works of
Jesus. My goal is to get Rangers in the boys blood,
plant the seed, then let Jesus move them. Im only
a tool, to guide them for how ever long that may
be. But i will use the other ministrys for whatever
i can get. As a example---- I have two boys, One a
TRAILBLAZER, The other a Challenger, BOTH ARE
IN MEXICO DOING MISSION WORK
right now as
i write this e-mail. They went with the Youth group
of our church. Praise God for giving them such a
oppurtunity. And thank God for allowing me to work
along side the Youth Pastor and being a team player.
It isnt easy being a Ranger. We seem to always be
walking up hill, always struggling to accomplish our
goals, not quite fitting in with the crowd. Its like
being a Christian in a secular world.
Yes Jesus ..We will follow you..Praise God!
